The blog is no longer the prime residence of the egotistical lunatic who is trying to prove just how important they are. As the Internet has matured then the visitor has gained power and now unless you give them what they want they will look elsewhere. However all is not lost because human nature does not change and thus if you can provide a solution to a problem then you will have an audience.
